Australia Post - Registered Post
- How long will it take to get to my location?
Usually 1 to 6 Business days, depending on how far you are from Sydney. Below are rough guides ONLY. Aussie post may take a little longer, and there is nothing really we can do about it.
- Sydney metro = 1 to 2 Business days
- Melbourne metro = 2 to 3 Business days
- Hobart metro = 3 to 4 Business days
- Adelaide metro = 3 to 4 Business days
- Brisbane = 3 to 4 Business days
- Perth metro = 4 to 6 Business days
- Nothern Territory = 4 to 6 Business days
Rural areas usually add an extra day or two.
- Do I need to be home?
Someone on your premise will have to sign for the item. If no one is available Australia post will 'card you'. You will see a small card in your letter box. It should have the address of the post office where your item is being held. You take the card to the PO box, with some identification, and pick up your product. If there is a new or inexperienced 'postie' working in your area, he may forgot or not leave you with any card, so after the indicated timeline above, you should pro-actively check with your local post office for your parcel.
You can track your Registered Post parcel delivery online here. Please allow the Registered parcel to arrive and to be scanned at your destination PO distribution center before you can track the parcel.
To manually track any parcels please call Australia Post on (+61) 131318 option 4, 3 and quote the Tracking Number and our shipping post code of 2122.

It will take 1 full business day to get to you if you are in Sydney's Express Post network. That means if it is sent on Monday you will get it on Tuesday. If it is sent on Friday, it will get to you on Monday. If you are not in the network, it is usually 1 business day extra.

- Do I need to be home?
No, you don't have to be. If the item is small and fits in your letter box, it will be left there. If the item is big-ish, the postie with knock on your door. If you are not home, they will either leave it at your door step, or 'card you'. You will see a small card in your letter box. It should have the address of the post office where your item is being held. You take the card to the PO box, with some identification, and pick up your product.
How fast can you guys send my stuff off?
Orders for IN-STOCK items are usually shipped within 24 hours of payment clearing, unless it is the weekend of course. Orders with money clearing on the weekend will ship out on Monday. Items that are ordered before 3pm on a business day usually have about an 80% chance of being sent the same day!
We are not super heroes (we try to be), so here are some things that can affect the item being sent instantly:
- The item is not in stock. We will always display a notice on an items page if it is out of stock. Reading is your friend.
- If an item is on preorder for a long time, and comes in...we will devote all our resource to getting all the preorders out that day. As a rule, we do the orders in the order they come in. So if you ordered on the day of a big shipment for us, there might be 100 people in front of you. This does not happen very often.
- When there is more than 1 person packing, 1 person will pack registered post items, while the other will pack express post items. Express post will always be done before registered as there are no forms to fill out - something to think about when you are ordering.
- Some items are NEVER rushed. We would rather delay your shipment by a day then send of a module that has not been tested properly.
- If you order multiple items, one being in-stock, and one being out-of-stock, we will hold the in-stock item until both items are available. If you don't agree with this, then make 2 separate orders!
- Acts of nature we can't control. I.e. If we sick or die, if there is a hurricane that rips open the road to the post office etc - your item may be delayed a little.
Sounds like a bunch of excuses, but we are just trying to make our customers understand. Re-reading that make it seem like we are slow, we are quite the opposite! Check out the reviews we get for our customers
What happens if an item is lost?
If an item is lost in the post, we will work with you to find the article. If a lost article was sent by registered post, it may take some time to process a refund or replacement. There are ways to still get your product though while the process is happening, please contact us about this.
Express post items cannot be insured at all. If Australia post loose an item, a maximum of $50 is available for compensation, if and only if the fault is with them. Keep in mind that no compensation is available AT ALL if you write down the wrong shipping address.
There is more info about this on our wiki
What happens if my item is defective?
DOA
We will exchange items if they are faulty on delivery (DOA) to you and we are notified within 7 days of receiving the item. Electronics are definitely not made in heaven, so they do have a small failure rate. The user is responsible for return postage.
Defective within warranty period
All items have a warranty period, if it is not displayed on the page, then it is 3 months. If an item dies, we will replace it. We will only replace it if it is a manufacture defect, we will not replace a product that has been made dysfunctional via user error. The user is responsible for return postage costs to us, we will pay for posting the item back to you. Please don't just return the item, you need to contact us about it first! Quote your order number and give us a detailed description of the problem.
If you return an item that is working, we will send the item back after you have paid for return postage. Please make sure the error is not related to 3rd party products you are using.
If you return an item that is out of stock, we obviously cannot provide you with a replacement. Some options are: swapping it with a similar product, store credit, or if the item is not back in stock within 10 business days, we can process a refund.
Most products have serial numbers, and we log them all down (including all the insides). Trying to scam us and sending us back a product that isn't ours, and we will keep it.
Most products that we sell comes with a 1 year warranty. We will put a warranty sticker on the item - remove it, or tamper with it and you have no warranty at all. No exceptions.
